Welcome to Adgestone Vineyard
We are one of the oldest working vineyards in the UK and a producer of award-winning wines. Visit us as one of the top tourist attractions on the Isle of Wight.
Take an audio guided tour of the vines and our subterranean cellars, followed by a fun and informative personal wine tasting lesson. Enjoy a cold food platter and a bottle of English wine in our secluded 10 acre vineyard with sea views. Buy local produce in our farm shop and watch live acoustic music every weekend during summer. Whilst you relax, the pigmy goats and chickens will entertain the children (and all the softies amongst you). Open to the public every day during summer. See ‘Contact Us’ tab for winter opening.

No holiday is complete without trying the local produce. Here at Adgestone Vineyard, we stock local preserves, pestos, Isle of Wight cheese, chocolates, honey and of course our very own English wines, country wines and liqueurs.
As one of the oldest vineyards in England, you would expect us to make great English wines and you'd be right, but that's not all we do. Making the most of our fermentation vats, we spend the spring collecting fruits, flowers and fresh grown root ginger from our own vineyard to bring you natural country wines. For those with a sweeter tooth, try our exotic range of liqueurs, from the liquid marzipan tasting almond, to the rich texture of coffee. Got a bit of the Devil in you? Then try our chilli sauces and preserves. You simply cannot leave the Island without an Arson-Fire! Beware of the After Burn!
